This fantastic blog is run by Jim Connolly who has worked in his own business for the last 16 years helping hundreds of small business owners with their marketing.

Even before I started this blog in the autumn of last year I was a keen reader of Jim’s Marketing Blog and continue to be so.

Jim has a great knack of providing his information in a very clear and easy to understand way and I would definitely recommend his blog.

Matt McGee’s small business blog focuses on search marketing and he demonstrated a great knowledge of his subject area while managing to give unique insights on many topics.

Matt’s monthly round-ups of the best search and marketing blog posts he’s read that month are definitely worthwhile checking out.

BizSugar is a very useful social bookmarking site with a great blog that places a lot of attention on social media for small businesses.

Many of the posts attract large amounts of retweets and comments – the latter of which are useful for picking up further hints and tips from readers.

Marketing Donut Blog – http://www.marketingdonut.co.uk/blog

The Marketing Donut blog is updated regularly by a host of small business marketing experts in the UK. The blog is wide ranging and covers everything from internet marketing to customer care and PR.

There are a good range of opinions and insights on the blog thanks to the variety of contributors and their different fields of expertise.
