Find Your Voice with SearchBlogger
When I started SearchBlogger in October 2010 I wanted to make it a useful resource of online marketing articles for small business owners.
I want to make this blog as useful as possible for my readers so would love you to get involved.
What online marketing topics do you want to read about?
What part of online marketing drives you insane?
Are you not getting enough business online?
Do you have a specific question you want answered?
Have you had a bad experience with an online marketing company and want to have a go yourself?
Please leave any comments, questions or article suggestions in the comments below – I look forward to hearing from you.
- I want SearchBlogger to become a place where you can stop by at any time for useful online marketing hints, tips and advice.
- I want SearchBlogger to become an online community where I can get to know you and what problems your small business is facing when it comes to online marketing.
- I want SearchBlogger to be your online marketing blog.
We can only achieve this if you take part – this is your opportunity to shape SearchBlogger for the better and get the advice and information you really want.
If there are any topics you want to know more about or questions you’d like answered, just leave them in the comments below – thanks!

I don’t think you need to change too much at the moment because your blog is doing quite well now. Only thing i would recommend doing, is moving into some more advanced topics as some of your content is a bit beginner focused which leaves people out who already know some of the stuff.
Just my two cents.
Hi Peter, thanks for your comments. I will be covering more advanced topics soon, the aim of the blog was to provide a useful resource for beginners initially and then move on to cover the topics in more detail and at a more advanced level. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Many thanks, Jamie

Hi Dana,
I will try to write something on this topic for you but as it’s such a vast subject area with so many different factors, it’s not an easy thing to put into a concise blog post.
I can certainly cover the basics though and will do that soon.

The most important feature of any online marketing article, whether it is for sole traders, small businesses or massive corporations is that it has to be actionable.
The best articles, in my opinion keep theory to a minimum, speculation out completely and provide a list that a person can work on that will bring some results.
So many articles are written by people who are really only advertising their own marketing business – they give nothing away apart from their email address.
Theory is good, but it should be a side note, or you should link to the theory articles for those that feel like reading up on it a bit more. For the rest of us, a step by step guide that does not require any previous knowledge of social / search marketing or complex web systems.
Do that and you have a winner I reckon!

Hi Jon, thanks for taking the time to leave such an in-depth and useful comment. I’m planning on going back to basics with a lot of my future posts and do exactly what you say; guide people through things step-by-step so they can put useful online marketing tools and theories into action. Thanks again, Jamie
